You are not supposed to fit it! Read that again and say it like you mean it. You came here to be unique. We should all be expressing ourselves in our own unique way. No two people should be the same. We can’t help but to see the characteristics in others that we don’t see in ourselves. We aren’t supposed to imitate what we see in others but simply acknowledge the difference.
Most of us that are different realized a long time ago, it’s not always a good idea to be yourself. Being different means you’re constantly misunderstood and consistently getting awkward looks followed by loud silences. Those moments created attention we spent years trying to avoid. Depending on how you were raised those moments could have been exaggerated by your siblings making fun of you or your family treating you like an outcast. Anyone that considers themselves different learned quickly to keep those type of thoughts quiet. Unfortunately, that was the part of us that made us unique. We did not come here to blend in with everyone else. We came here to shine our light.
Those awkward moments forced us to hide our inner thoughts. We locked away the most important part of our being. I believe expressing these inner thoughts are the actions needed to change this world. Those moments we ran from were needed at that time. We often say things and don’t realize the overall effect. Spirit guides us to do things we can’t see with our human eye. Our job is to be obedient and follow our instinct.
We are led to believe that being different is unnatural but in reality changing yourself to think and act like everyone is unnatural. We are meant to stand out and be different. We are meant to shine bright like a diamond. Change happens from within and it starts with the ones who have the courage to be different. Know you are being divinely guided and express your inner thoughts. You were made to stand out and be different. Be uniquely you.
