My easy go-to meals

Here are a couple of my go to recipes. When I first became plant based my goal was to keep cooking as simple as possible. My meals would be boiled cabbage, a sweet potato and some green beans. Other days I would have red beans and brown rice or quinoa. I stuck with things that didn’t take long to prepare and cook. 

One of the main things with cooking is to make sure you are eating things that taste good to you. If a recipe calls for sour cream I would leave it off since I don’t like sour cream. Tailor each recipe for what works best with your taste buds, time and money.
