Transitioning out of my initial plant based lifestyle had me feeling as though something was missing. I knew it wasn’t meat or dairy but I couldn’t quite figure it out. Something within me told me to add fish to my menu. Soon afterward, I began to add limited seafood to my eating style. Fish and plant vegetables have been my lifestyle for a while now.

Recently, a good friend tried to persuade me into doing something I didn’t think was a good idea. My friend could not understand why I wouldn’t take his advice. I stood strong and held on to what I thought was best for me. The pressure from that friend made me wonder if I’d made the right decision. I began to think about how mentally strong I was being in that situation. I believe what I choose to eat and put in my body allowed me to be mentally strong. It built up a willpower in me that helped me push through a tough moment. I felt as if I was still eating processed foods, my level of belief in self would have broken.
I believe eliminating processed foods, sodas, sugary foods, dairy, and meats will change you outside and inside.
Labeling your eating lifestyle is not always ideal. Do what your spirit tells you your body needs.
